Now available for pre-order, the Ford Focus EV will also boast the fastest EV charging time among competition. Not only is the charging time of the Focus half that of the Leaf, the automaker expects that this will allow drivers to more than double their driving range on a busy day of recharging and driving.

But this is just a small part of Ford's commitment to fuel efficient vehicles, with many traditionally powered models exceeding 40 miles-per-gallon, on top of the forthcoming C-MAX Hybrid and C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrid. According to a press release from Ford, this is all part of the greater plan "to give fuel-efficiency minded customers the Power of Choice."¹
